In November 2013, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) South Africa’s Health Office appointed GreaterCapital to create an inventory of their communications materials, identify gaps and make recommendations for updating existing materials and the production of new materials. GreaterCapital was also tasked with facilitating the identification of 13 gender success stories and making recommendations for the development and presentation of these stories. These tasks formed the first phase of a longer process to implement the recommendations and produce new and updated materials which forms the basis of this Phase 2 of the project which is now under way. This phase of the project includes the creation of factsheets, gender success stories with photographs, infographics and a printed leaflet.
“Communication is vital for human development. It is about… listening, building trust, sharing knowledge and skills, building policies, debating and learning for sustained and meaningful change.”
